The youth are in important target audience for the development of Astronomy, not only in Trinidad & Tobago, but across the globe. The workshop program is geared towards introducing school children to the wonderful world of astronomy and helping them to see the day to day applications of the science so that they may be encouraged to make it a part of their every day lifestyle. The workshop will be held at the Imbert-Barrow Observatory and extend from April - June.
A booklet on the use of telescopes and binoculars is being prepared for distribution to schools and for use in the workshops.
